Get ready for an unforgettable wildlife experience during Fall Flights, our signature flighted raptor show! Watch in awe as powerful birds of prey soar, dive, and glide just inches above your head in this immersive outdoor program.

Set against the stunning backdrop of the Treasure Valley, this 45-minute narrated demonstration highlights the natural behaviors, agility, and grace of our hawks, falcons, owls, and vultures. You'll gain a deeper understanding of these incredible birds and the conservation efforts that help protect them.

• Check-in opens at 10:00 AM inside the Welcome Center.
• Proof of reservation or e-ticket is required for check-in.
• Please arrive early to allow time for parking and check-in.
• At 10:45 AM, guests will migrate from the Velma Morrison Interpretive Center to the Raptor Ridge Amphitheater.
• The flight program starts promptly at 11:00 AM and lasts approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour.
• If you arrive after 11:00 AM, you will be directed to the Interpretive Center and will not be admitted to Fall Flights.

• Online ticket reservations are required to attend a Fall Flights program.
• Once tickets are reserved, you will receive a confirmation email and e-ticket after booking. At check-in, please present your e-ticket or the name on the reservation.
• You will receive a wristband for entry to the Raptor Ridge Amphitheater.
• The program is held outdoors. Please dress for the weather—Idaho can be unpredictable!
• Stay hydrated by bringing plenty of water.
• Umbrellas are not permitted, but hats are encouraged.
• No dogs or pets are allowed at the World Center for Birds of Prey or our Fall Flights program.
• The Raptor Ridge Amphitheater is wheelchair accessible for the first row of seating. That row is reserved for ADA seating, however, if the show is full, loved ones of those who need ADA seating may be asked to move to a different row to allow room for more wheelchair users.

Can I still visit the World Center for Birds of Prey if I am not attending Fall Flights?

Yes! The Velma Morrison Interpretive Center will remain open to the general public during the Fall Flights program. General Admission tickets are available upon arrival. However, the Interpretive Trails near the Raptor Ridge Amphitheater will be closed during the Flights. 

How does Fall Flights affect the regularly scheduled programs?

Fall Flights presentations do not interfere with our daily programs scheduled for 11 am, 1 pm and 3 pm. The Velma Morrison Interpretive Center opens at 10 am to the general public and there will be an 11 am presentation for those not participating in Fall Flights.

Is this event a good fit for my children? 

Fall Flights is not recommended for children under 4 years of age or for individuals that cannot sit for up to 45 minutes. Our trained raptors will be flying around and across the amphitheater, and it is important for bird and human safety that the audience remain seated throughout the presentation.

What happens if there is inclement weather? 

Fall Flights is weather dependent. In the event of strong winds, smoke, or precipitation, we will make the call to cancel by 9 am on the day of the event, and your tickets will be fully refunded with a confirmation cancellation email. It is then up to the visitor to re-book for a later date if that is of interest. Our Interpretive Center will be open from 10 am to 5 pm regardless of weather.

How will I know if the event has been canceled?

Our website and Facebook page will be updated with the cancellation notice by 9am on the day of the program. On the morning of a canceled program, you will receive an email notifying you of the automatic full refund (minus any donation that you included with your purchase). You can also call (208) 362-8687 after 9 am on the day of the program to check the status of Fall Flights. If your Flight is canceled, it is your responsibility to re-purchase tickets to a future program.
